Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Chicago, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Illinois run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Small venue. Food and service were great! 5 savory dishes and 1 desert. Was filling enough with wine. Only thing is that we wished there was more seasoning/spice to some of the dishes but overall we enjoyed our meals. I had the standard tasting and my friends had the vegetarian tasting.

Food and atmosphere were fantastic. We did the tasting menu and I think they just need to work on their logistics a little. They served us 6 dishes, extremely rushed, the full meal was done after an hour.5. It made it almost impossible to keep up with the wine and food as quick as they were given to us and difficult to even appreciate the experience. Go for the food and vibes, but in my opinion skip the tasting menu experience

Absolutely outstanding from first to last course. The surf and turf theme was creatively implemented into every dish - I could eat that menu every day for the rest of my life. Delicious, bright, comforting food paired with impeccable and warm service. It was a delightful meal and I will be thinking about that chocoflan for a looooong time!

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day and I was really excited to try their tasting menu since I’ve heard so much hype about it. They change the menu every year for Valentine’s, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to go. First course was lumpia with caviar. It was good, though the filling leaned salty and the caviar added even more saltiness, but the sweet and sour sauce balanced it out nicely. Next was the croqueta which was delicious. Our third dish was pancit luglug β€” garlicky, creamy, and the chicharrones added a great crunch. The tamales Cubano was my favorite of the night. Super well seasoned and really flavorful. The fried soft shell crab was a bit oily but still tasted good overall. For the fifth course we had kare kare. I personally found it quite salty since the dish already had shrimp paste and the scallop was salted too, but eating it with the baby bok choy helped balance it. Lastly, the chocoflan was amazing. Not overly sweet, still moist, not eggy, and a perfect ending to the meal. For drinks, I definitely recommend the Pandan Mojito, Spiked Hibiscus Ginger, and Ocean Drive. We also tried the San Miguel beer and a port wine. We also met the own

wonderful ambiance and absolutely yummy food - even the vegetarian options!! the drinks were also soo pretty and delicious!! great for a date night or intimate girls night. we got: drinks: cafe con leche, the beautiful yellow drink (I don’t remember the nameee!) food: mushroom empanadas (warm, flaky, crusty, flavorful), Ginataang gulay (like a veggie curry) - we added chicken on the side (it was seared well and had good flavor too), and we finished w/ the saffron cream cheese flan (basically the thickest cheesecake ever - yum)
